Through in-depth conversations, I’ll get to know you and your story, create a wedding ceremony, support you to write your vows, refine it all with you and be your officiant on your big day.

Our goodbyes come when a life or relationship ends.

For the lives that have come to their end in this plane of existence, I will work with you to create a ceremony that reflects the truth of that life with compassion, dignity, and care. Together, we’ll shape a farewell that brings comfort, connection, and meaning to those who gather.
For the relationships that have reached their conclusion, I will support you in your "undoing". Bringing your vows, written or not to a close. Let's talk about what that might look like for you.

I'm Jo, your independent celebrant, storyteller and moment maker.
When asked why I became a celebrant, I have to say its because I love love, and I love stories, especially the ones that mark a turning point in someone’s life.
Love stories, the laughter of a family welcoming a new baby and the stories we tell of our loved ones when we celebrate and remember them.
After over two decades of leading corporate events and time spent leading church and community ceremonies I trained and qualified as an independent celebrant. This training brought together years of experience in storytelling, ritual and public speaking. It felt like a natural step, where my love for people, words and life’s most significant moments could come together in a meaningful way.
I work closely with every couple, family or individual to create a ceremony that feels true to them, joyful, heartfelt and never just read off a script.
At this time my focus is on weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies.
I’d love to be there to guide you, support you and celebrate with you.
